Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use the Oscar Giovanni Salon & Spa ("Oscar Giovanni," "we," "us," or "our") website, book an appointment, buy gift cards or products, or receive services at our Chagrin Falls or Concord locations.

By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Appointments

Booking. You can book online through Booker, by phone, or in the salon. Please provide accurate contact information so we can confirm and remind you about your appointment.

Deposits. Extensions, bridal, and other large services require a deposit paid by card at the time of booking. Your deposit is applied to the cost of your service.

Cancellations and rescheduling. We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged 50% of the estimated service, and deposits for those appointments may be forfeited.

No-shows. If you miss your appointment without notice, you may be charged 100% of the expected service cost and and will be asked to prepay for future bookings.

Late arrivals. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late (depending upon the service), we may need to shorten your service, reschedule, or charge for the missed appointment so other clients are not delayed.

Bridal and group services. Bridal parties and group bookings may have separate deposit, cancellation, and contract terms, which we will share at booking.

Pricing, Payment, and Satisfaction

Pricing. Prices on our website are starting prices. Your final price depends on your hair length, thickness, condition, the time and products required, and your stylist's level. We will discuss pricing during your consultation, and prices may change without notice.

Payment. Payment is due when services are completed. We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash, and checks. Card payments are processed through Clover. A surcharge of 3% is added to payments made with a credit card. No surcharge applies to debit card, cash, or check payments.

Satisfaction. If you are not happy with your service, please let us know within 7 days. We will offer a complimentary adjustment with your original stylist or another team member. Because services involve time and professional skill, we do not offer refunds on completed services.

Gift Cards and Retail Products

Gift cards. Gift cards can be used for services and retail products at both locations. The amount paid for a gift card is valid for five years from the date of purchase. Promotional gift cards and bonus value are subject to the terms of the specific promotion. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by law, and are not replaced if lost or stolen.

Retail returns. Retail products may be returned within 90 days of purchase for a full refund to the original payment method.

Your Health and Safety

Please tell your service provider about any allergies, skin sensitivities, medications, pregnancy, recent chemical services, or medical conditions that could affect your service. We may require a patch or strand test before color, lash, brow, or chemical services, and we may decline or change a service if we believe it is unsafe.

Results vary by person. By receiving services, you accept the normal risks of salon and spa treatments, such as mild irritation or sensitivity. Clients under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent for all chemical services, including but not limited to hair coloring and smoothing treatments.

Using Our Website

You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse it, including by interfering with its operation, attempting unauthorized access, or submitting false booking or contact information.

Communications. When you book with us, you agree to receive appointment confirmations and reminders by email and text through Mindbody. Marketing messages are sent only if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.

Content ownership. The text, photos, logos, and design on our website belong to Oscar Giovanni or are used with permission. You may not copy or reuse them without our written consent.

Third-party services. Our website links to services we do not control, including Booker, Clover, and social media platforms. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Our website and its content are provided "as is." We work to keep service descriptions, prices, and hours accurate, but we do not guarantee the website will be error-free or always available.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oscar Giovanni is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service or product involved.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date below will change.
